    A pair or what could well be three Mississippi Kites in Ames, Montgomery County NY has the NY birding community buzzing.  Several birders have make the long drive to see this Southern Bird...with some more successful than others.  I was lucky enough to make the trip and successfully see this bird.  See my report here http://birdingdude.blogspot.com/2009/07/sheer-madness-or-daring-run.html
